Helping adults and children develop focus, awareness, and kindness through calm, presence-based activities.

Safety, Credentials & Compliance

For all in-person services, I prioritize safety, professionalism, and peace of mind. I maintain current clearances, certifications, and health screenings to support ethical and responsible work with children, older adults, individuals, and couples.


Current Safety & Professional Verifications Include:

  • Arizona Department of Public Safety IVP Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance (State and FBI), obtained under statutes including work with children and vulnerable adults. Available upon request
  • TB Test – Negative
  • Adult & Pediatric First Aid / CPR / AED Certified
    American Red Cross (Arizona), via approved third-party affiliate


All credentials are current and verified through the appropriate state and certifying agencies.

Program Purpose

A calm space to learn attention, awareness, and kindness.


The Attention Skills Program is a non-clinical, skills-based enrichment program designed to support adults and children in developing attention, emotional awareness, and kindness through calm, presence-based activities.


The program emphasizes attention, awareness, and everyday mindfulness—not instruction, diagnosis, or treatment. It is developmental skill-building that supports adults and children in learning how to pause, notice their thoughts and emotions, and respond with greater intention.

Why Attention Skills Matter for Adults and Children Today?

Adults and children today are constantly responding — to screens, work/school expectations, peer dynamics, and internal emotions they do not yet fully understand.

  • Gentle reflection appropriate to age
  • Self-regulation skills for adults and kids
  • Mindfulness-based enrichment program
  • Integration time to help adults and children transition smoothly back to daily activities


What Adults and Children Practice and Learn

Through structured and age-appropriate sessions, adults and children practice:

  • Sustained attention on a single task
  • Noticing thoughts without immediately reacting
  • Simple breathing and grounding techniques
  • Listening without interruption
  • Recognizing emotions before acting on them


Adults and children begin to understand in simple language:

Meditation & Quiet Time Definition

Meditation in this program is introduced as simple attention and awareness, such as noticing breathing, thoughts, or bodily sensations in a gentle, accessible way. It is not a technique, belief system, or spiritual practice.

Companionship Orientation

The program is offered from a companionship perspective, meaning the facilitator provides presence, listening, and attention—without directing, interpreting, or treating emotional or behavioral conditions.

No religious or belief-based instruction is included.

Scope & Boundaries

  • No therapy, counseling, diagnosis, or treatment
  • No body-movement instruction
  • Does not address mental health conditions
  • Does not replace private/public counseling or medical services


Any concerns beyond the program’s scope are referred to the appropriate professional and/or parent.

Safety & Oversight

  • Participation is voluntary
  • Adults and children are never pressured to share personal experiences
  • The program follows facility policies
